Contest Update (2012)

The contest will (hopefully) be moving to September 8th instead of the 15th. DRAFT has scheduled their BrewFest on the 15th. Provisional rules are posted here.

2012 Contest Information

To further reinforce the idea that all forms of creativity are art, the Best Label contest will be back! Home brewers are encouraged to design their most creative labels reflective of their personalities and the style of their brew. Click here to download the rules.

Important dates for this year
Submission drop off dates: September 4th - September 14th (by noon).
Judging: September 15th.
Oktoberfest: September 21, 22, & 23, 2012

What styles of beer can be submitted for the 2012 Contest?

Judging will be done on seven distinct categories, but there will be two different overall winners for the contest. There will be a “German Style Winner” and a “Non-German Style Winner”.

 Scottish and Irish Ales
  BJCP Styles: 9A, 9B, 9C, 9D, 9E
 American Ales
